Paint the Town Festival: Marble Falls annual plein air competition & art show, April 23-29. Artists from across the U.S. paint on location. Lakeside Pavilion is transformed into a gallery with works created by these artists.

Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge
East entrance (Warbler Vista): 21646 ½ E. FM 1431 Lago Vista, TX 78654 is 9.7 miles from Hill Country Highland.
West entrance (Doeskin Ranch): 10645 FM 1174 Bertram, TX 78605 is 10.7 miles from Hill Country Highland.
The refuge is 72 square miles and includes more than 9 miles of hiking trails. Most public areas of the refuge are open 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset and do not require reservations or a fee to visit.
Guided hikes are offered throughout the year and can be booked through the Friends of Balcones Canyonlands website.
Holiday Attractions
Marble Falls is decked out for Christmas with a fantastic Walkway of Lights at Lakeside Park (and it’s free.)
There’s also an ice skating rink and lots of lights on Main Street.
